Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, and the warm Gulf waters are Alabama beaches. You’ll also find cool people and white sugar sand. For generations, their combined 32-miles pristine beaches have welcomed tourists to enjoy everything from diving to dolphins, to sitting to sailing and anything in between.

Turquoise Place can be found gulf front in Orange Beach, at 26302 Perdido Beach Boulevard. The entrance to Gulf State Park is five miles away, Adventure Island amusement center is two miles away, and Cotton Bayou Public Beach Access is one mile.
It’s nice to be a mile from the closest public beach, because you can avoid the crowds. Turquoise Place allows you to go out when you want, but is still secluded.
What Types of Rooms are Available at Turquoise Place Hotel?
Turquoise Place offers 3-5 bedroom condos in two high rise towers. The general occupancy is as follows:
- Three bedroom sleeps six to twelve
- 4 Bedroom sleeps 10-14
- 5 Bedroom sleeps 12-16
Bookings are subject to the exact occupancy of each unit. Please confirm this when booking. You don’t have to worry, all units are gulf-view and feature hot tubs.
Each unit comes with a fully-equipped kitchen, including a Wolf range, microwave, Sub-Zero refrigerator and a Subzero fridge. There’s also a full-size washing machine and dryer, as well as a starter set of toiletries.
What does a Penthouse suite at Turquoise Place look like?
The master bedroom was the best part of a five-bedroom suite. Luxury is not even close to describing it. I felt like the Real Housewife of Alabama. My first apartment was bigger, but it didn’t have a jetted tub with a view of the gulf. The bedroom was surrounded by a glass wall that overlooked the gulf. You had to look past the hot tub and private deck to see the ocean, but the waves could be seen from the bed.
The kitchen was complete with granite counters. The ladies from The Beach Moms provided a charcuterie platter and a fridge full of gourmet food. Gulf Shores and Orange Beach are too fun and the restaurants in the area are too good to spend the weekend at the condo, even though it has a gym and sauna.
Turquoise Place Resort Amenities
Turquoise place by Spectrum Resorts offers more than just condos on the beach. The resort offers a full-service experience. It starts with a stretch of Orange Beach, located centrally between Cotton Bayou Access & Perdido Pass. Travel speak for staying as far from public access points possible. You can also rent beach chairs and cabanas.
You’ll also find a 450-foot lazy river, saunas, steam rooms and indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Tennis courts and Gulf-front fitness facilities with top-of the-line Atlantis equipment are available for those who want to get in shape before hitting the beach.
Spectrum Exclusive Experience
You will receive a higher level of service when you rent directly through Spectrum. This is called the Spectrum Exclusive Experience. The service begins with an express check-in via the mobile app, and includes access to the concierge desk. The day begins with a daily complimentary breakfast (seasonal), and access to Spectrum Club Lounge. The gaming area, which includes state-of-the art gaming consoles and pool and ping-pong tables as well as a variety of family-friendly games, was popular with families. But I wanted to use the business center so I could stay connected on the go.
You can get a 10% discount on the retail shops and poolside grill when you book directly through Spectrum. The complimentary beach towels were a nice touch, as I didn’t have to wash the ones that I had brought with me. The less sand that I have to take home, the happier I will be.
Start Your Vacation Right Away With The Beach Mums
Beach Moms is a concierge service that offers services to tourists who are eager to begin their vacation. The Beach Moms will prepare your groceries and stock your condo in advance of your arrival, book dinner reservations, organize transportation, and plan fun activities if needed.
This means that I won’t be stressed out about my beach time. In true Housewife fashion, I was greeted by a gorgeous charcuterie platter when I entered my penthouse condominium. I dropped my bags into my oversized closet and went out to the balcony in search of prosciutto. This is big energy from a housewife, or, dare I suggest, a beach mom!

I won’t lie. I didn’t feel like cooking on vacation. Gulf Shores, Orange Beach and other areas are a foodie paradise. Here are a few of my favorite dishes from my stay at Turquoise Palace.
- Lulu’s – On the Intracoastal, owned and operated Lucy Buffett. She is Jimmy Buffett’s sister. There was no buffet but there was a large menu and live music every night.
- Brick & Spoon – A local chain that creates unique meals with a spoonful Southern flair to comfort the heart and souls of all guests. The menu includes a wide variety of breakfast drinks in the true housewife fashion, including a Bloody Mary.
- The Gulf A casual-chic hideaway in a lush beach environment with a rotating menu.
- Voyager’s– Offering authentic Gulf Coast Cuisine in an intimate setting with panoramic views of the Gulf. They also offer a variety of fresh appetizers, side dishes, and desserts.
- Sunliner diner– The Sunliner, a symbol of American culture dating back to the 1950s, is an iconic icon. Its location in downtown Gulf Shores creates a rock n’ roll hideaway that serves milkshakes and hamburgers within walking distance of the beach.
- Sassy Bass Amazin’ Grill– Visit for the sandwiches and burgers. But stay for the oysters. Eric Bradley is the general manager and a partner at Alabama’s Navy Cove Oyster Farm. You can be sure that their oysters are fresh.
- Southern Shores Coffee When you’re channeling your inner housewife, you can turn to big beans energy. Southern Shores Coffee, the only coffee shop in town, roasts its own. Try their specialty roasts like Bushwacker and Bananas Foster.
